Vegetable Biryani

Ingredients

1 cup Basmati Rice

2 Chopped Onions

½ cup Peas

½ cup Cauliflower

2 Chopped Tomato’s

Ginger paste

Garlic paste

½ tsp Chilly powder

½ tsp Turmeric powder

1 tsp Biryani Masala

2 tsp oil

3 Laung

1 tsp Cumin seeds

2 Bay leaves

Fried Nuts

Method

  • Soak the rice for 2 hrs.
  • Heat the vessel and add 2 tsp oil, add Laung, Cumin seeds, Bay leaves, ginger & garlic paste and leave for 2 minutes in the low flame.
  • Now add chopped onions, tomato’s, turmeric powder, chilly powder and finally Biryani masala.
  • Now add the peas and cauliflower and mix it well in the low flame.
  • Now add the rice and mix it well and boil the rice in the low flame for about 20 minutes.
  • Now add the fried nut to the Biryani and serve in the bowl with onion ritha.
